  • Encrypted, deduplicated backups of files from other machines, pushed in via a Kopia client
  • A self-hosted alternative to Backblaze/Duplicati-style backup services with a browsable web UI
  • Centralizing backup snapshots from several servers into one repository

Bon à savoir

  • The release phase creates a filesystem-backed repository on the mounted volume the first time this app deploys; later deploys reuse it
  • This template uses local disk as the repository backend — for off-box durability, connect a remote backend (S3, Backblaze B2, etc.) from the web UI instead of relying only on this volume
  • Log in to the web UI with KOPIA_SERVER_USERNAME (admin) and the generated KOPIA_SERVER_PASSWORD; the repository's own encryption password is the separate generated KOPIA_PASSWORD
