Why deploy on Railyard
Railyard runs it standalone on a server you already pay for — no addons to provision, with zero-downtime deploys and scaling still included.
Deploying Paperclip is one piece of a bigger stack you can keep building — add a database, a worker, a cache, or another app, all on the same servers you already pay for.
Good for
- A shared dashboard for assigning goals to and tracking several coding/ops agents at once
- Tracking agent work and cost from one place instead of per-terminal
- A team control plane in front of agent CLIs like Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode
Good to know
- Add at least one LLM provider key (OPENAI_API_KEY or ANTHROPIC_API_KEY) from the environment after deploy — none is pre-filled, and agents won't run without one
- It orchestrates agents that can run real shell/dev-tool actions and holds provider API keys — treat it with the same care as any system with command-execution access
