Quickstart
From sign-in to a running app on your own server in about ten minutes.
- Sign up at app.railyard.run/signup. It’s free with no card, and your team gets 14 days of Pro. Confirm your email from the link we send.
- Add a server — Servers → Add a server. Either create one on your cloud account (DigitalOcean, Vultr, Hetzner, AWS, OVH) or connect any Ubuntu 22.04/24.04 box you can SSH into. Railyard installs Docker and its agent; the server shows up in about three minutes. See Add a server.
- Connect GitHub (optional, recommended) — Team → GitHub. Pick repositories from a list, deploy private repos without tokens and deploy on every push. See Connect GitHub.
- Create an app — + New app on the dashboard or + New on the canvas. Paste a repository URL (or pick one from GitHub), a Docker image, or a template. Railyard reads the repo and fills in the framework, port, processes, databases and the variables the app documents.
- Deploy. Watch the build and release stream live. When it’s live, the app answers at
https://<name>.<server-ip>.sslip.iountil you add your own domain.
If something fails, the deploy page says why in plain language and links to the fix — see Troubleshooting.
