Why deploy on Railyard
Railyard provisions redis alongside it automatically — zero-downtime deploys, automatic backups and scaling come from the same platform, on a server you already pay for.
Deploying RSSHub is one piece of a bigger stack you can keep building — add a database, a worker, a cache, or another app, all on the same servers you already pay for.
Good for
- Generating RSS feeds for sites and apps that don't publish one
- A personal feed aggregator backend for an RSS reader
Good to know
- Redis is wired up automatically as the response cache
- RSSHub ships date-tagged builds instead of semver releases — bump the image tag yourself periodically to pick up new/fixed feed routes
- Some routes need their own source-site cookies/keys set as extra env vars — check that route's docs if it 404s
