Why deploy on Railyard
Railyard provisions postgres alongside it automatically — zero-downtime deploys, automatic backups and scaling come from the same platform, on a server you already pay for.
Deploying ThingsBoard is one piece of a bigger stack you can keep building — add a database, a worker, a cache, or another app, all on the same servers you already pay for.

Good to know
- Postgres is wired up automatically; INSTALL_TB=true runs the schema install on every boot, which is fine for a fresh deploy but means an in-place upgrade needs that flag removed first
- Default login is sysadmin@thingsboard.org / sysadmin — change it immediately after first boot
- MQTT (1883), CoAP/LwM2M (5683-5688) and the Edge RPC port aren't exposed by this template — only the HTTP UI/API on 8080 is
